Nibs are crushed raw cocoa beans without shells. They are crunchy like nuts, but easier to chew than the whole cocoa beans and they have lovely bitter chocolate flavour. You can eat them as they are - nibble them, according to the name, or add them to your cooking, cakes or any other meals.
For their pleasant bitter taste, they are also nice as a snack to the quality red wine. Compared to commonly used appetizers such as potato chips and crisps, they are good for your health too.
They are source of energy, vitality and are allegedly aphrodisiacs.
